Dear Aunt: - I had a letter
from Ma this Morning and she informs me that it was
all a mistake on the part of
the spelling of the names, it was Sam Andress of
Hayesville who died and not
as I supposed Uncle Sam.
It has lifted a great weight
of sorrow off of both of us to learn the truth.
It must
have given you all quite a turn to read my letter but I hope it
did not make you
feel badly afterall.
